Scotts Valley's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Santa Cruz. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Ella Ireland and Taylor Ericson scored both of Scotts Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, San Lorenzo Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Harbor.

San Lorenzo Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Scotts Valley, they now have a winning record of 7-6-4.

Scotts Valley beat San Lorenzo Valley by a goal in their previous matchup back in January, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Scotts Valley since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
