Basketball Recap: Middletown Blue Raiders vs. Susquehanna Township HANNA
The Middletown Blue Raiders lost against the Susquehanna Township HANNA back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Middletown fell 43-31 to the HANNA. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Middletown has scored all season.
Susquehanna Township was led to victory by Schuyler Coles and Ava London. Coles scored 20 points along with five rebounds, while London scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. London is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last six games she's played.
Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Susquehanna Township, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Middletown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Susquehanna Township won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Eagles at 1:30 p.m. on February 3rd. Exeter Township will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 325th, while the HANNA are ranked 63rd).
