Edison had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 53-40 win over the Franklin Yellowjackets. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Franklin still got an impressive performance from Carmen Walker, who posted 13 points in addition to eight boards and six steals. The dominant performance also gave Walker a new career-high in assists (four).

Edison's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Franklin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-13.

Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Franklin, they will challenge Stagg at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
