Softball Recap: Eagle's Landing Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Eagle's Landing's offense. They came up short against the Jones County Greyhounds on Thursday, falling 18-0. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Eagle's Landing's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jones County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle's Landing will face off against Stockbridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.5 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Jones County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Berrien at 7:00 p.m.
