Soccer Game Preview: Trinity Christian vs. Locust Grove

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Trinity Christian challenge the Locust Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Trinity Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Locust Grove will be coming in after a loss.

Trinity Christian's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Villa Rica. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

They hit Villa Rica with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Eli Heath, Jackson Upshaw, and Niko Pagsisihan.

Meanwhile, Locust Grove didn't have quite enough to beat Hampton on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Locust Grove now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Trinity Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Trinity Christian suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Locust Grove in their previous matchup back in March of 2020. Can Trinity Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
