Baseball Recap: Metter Comes Up Short

Metter managed to slip by Emanuel County Institute the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 12-2. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Metter's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Emanuel County Institute, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 21-5.

Metter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Emanuel County Institute, they will challenge Statesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
