Recap: Justin-Siena Braves vs. American Canyon Wolves
Make it 12 blowout wins for the Justin-Siena Braves this season. Everything went their way against American Canyon on Thursday as Justin-Siena made off with a 59-35 victory. The victory was familiar territory for Justin-Siena who now have nine in a row.
Jordan Washington was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Lauren Keller, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Kamaya Jones and Jordan Woodson certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Jones scored 12 points, while Woodson scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
Justin-Siena is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for American Canyon, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-6.
Justin-Siena the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Vintage at 1:00 p.m. on January 20th. Vintage will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 868th, while Justin-Siena is ranked 104th). As for American Canyon, they will head out on the road to square off against Vallejo at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
