Basketball Recap: Butler Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Butler Golden Tornado came up short against the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs and fell 57-48. While losing is never fun, the Golden Tornado can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 39th).

Butler now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Shady Side Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 22-0.

Butler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shady Side Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Fox Chapel at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
