It was a good run, but Greater Atlanta Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Dawson County Tigers by a score of 9-8. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 13-6.

Greater Atlanta Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Dawson County, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.

Looking ahead, Greater Atlanta Christian is taking a road trip to face off against Chestatee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greater Atlanta Christian is facing Chestatee at the right time seeing as Chestatee is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Dawson County, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Pickens at 5:55 p.m. Dawson County will need to watch out since Pickens has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
