Baseball Game Preview: Solorio Sun Warriors vs. Kenwood Broncos

For the second straight game, Solorio will face off against Kenwood. The Sun Warriors will take on the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Solorio is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Solorio will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating Kenwood, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Sun Warriors came out on top against the Broncos by a score of 7-3 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sun Warriors.

Keiber Hernandez was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Josiah Saucedo, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Solorio was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They are 6-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The victory got Solorio back to even at 8-8. As for Kenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
