Basketball Recap: Armstrong Comes Up Short

Armstrong was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Neshannock Lancers 67-29.

Armstrong's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Neshannock, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Armstrong and Altoona will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Neshannock, they will be taking part in a tournament against Maplewood at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Maplewood will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Neshannock surely won't give up without a fight.
