Softball Recap: Landmark Christian Takes a Loss

Landmark Christian extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-3. They lost 13-0 to the Heritage Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the War Eagles of the 16-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

As for Heritage, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games.

For Heritage's part, Kaelynn Sweger was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI. Baylie Arrington was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

While Landmark Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
