It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Madison County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the Clarke Central Gladiators 7-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Raiders.

Madison County now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Clarke Central, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Madison County will head out to face off against Habersham Central at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. As for Clarke Central, they will take on Banks County at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
