Baseball Recap: Ladysmith Comes Up Short

Ladysmith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the St. Croix Falls Saints, falling 14-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 on Friday.

Ladysmith's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for St. Croix Falls, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Ladysmith has already played their next matchup, a 9-7 defeat against Bruce on the 18th. As for St. Croix Falls, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-9 victory against Webster on the 18th.
