Baseball Recap: Beach Comes Up Short

Beach extended their losing streak to six on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 1-7 in the process. They came up short against the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets, falling 15-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

As for Southeast Bulloch, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-11. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Southeast Bulloch's part, Ryan Cammack was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts Cammack has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Rhett Morgan was a standout: he went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Cade Harnage was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Beach nor Southeast Bulloch have any future games scheduled.
