After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pope, Woodstock was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sequoyah Chiefs, sneaking past 5-4. The win was some much needed relief for the Wolverines as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Woodstock's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Sequoyah, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Woodstock will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Chiefs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
