Soccer Game Preview: Saint Mary's vs. Head-Royce

The Saint Mary's Panthers will head out to take on the Head-Royce Jayhawks at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Saint Mary's has yet to allow a single goal through four matchups this season, a streak Head-Royce will look to end.

Saint Mary's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They beat El Cerrito by a goal, winning 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Panthers were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Sophia De Loa Ramirez, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Head-Royce put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 6-3 margin over Drew.

Saint Mary's victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for Head-Royce, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
