Baseball Recap: Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Triumphs

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser won against Clear Lake on Thursday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Bulldogs skirted past the Durand-Arkansaw Panthers 7-6. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Panthers last Tuesday, they had to take a 10-7 defeat.

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Durand-Arkansaw, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2.
