Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marquez). They never let the Sotomayor Wolves onto the board and left with a 9-0 win on Monday. Considering the Gladiators have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Marquez has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five games. As for Sotomayor, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Marquez has already played their next match (against Elizabeth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Sotomayor will challenge Maywood CES at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
