Soccer Game Preview: Orange Lutheran vs. San Luis Obispo

Orange Lutheran is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Cleveland get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The Lancers' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

They hit Cleveland with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kenadi Hammontree (2), Charlotte Kamansky, and Karis Buehler.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for San Luis Obispo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was San Luis Obispo who was credited with the win on Tuesday. San Luis Obispo got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Westlake's three.

Orange Lutheran's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for San Luis Obispo, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 20-3 record this season.
