Volleyball Recap: Jones County Takes a Loss

Jones County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lemmon Cowboys. The Coyotes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cowboys apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Jones County's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Lemmon, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Jones County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Pine Ridge on the 18th. Lemmon has also already played their next matchup (against Bennett County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
