Pepperell came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Pickens, falling 7-1. Pepperell's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Tucker Glenn made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Pepperell's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Pickens, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Pepperell will take on Bowdon at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pickens, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Haralson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
