Franklin Learning Center extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Janai Richardson. The Franklin Learning Center Bobcats walked away with a 35-26 win over the Parkway Center City Bulldogs on Wednesday thanks in part to Richardson, who posted 18 points. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Parkway Center City lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Peyton Heath-Owens, who went 5 for 8 on her way to 10 points. That was a full 38.5% of Parkway Center City's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of London Fisher, who put up nine points.

Franklin Learning Center's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.7 points per game. As for Parkway Center City, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Franklin Learning Center will head out on the road to challenge Vaux Big Picture at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Both have allowed few points on average, (Franklin Learning Center: 23.7, Vaux Big Picture: 23.6) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Parkway Center City, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 49-17 win against Parkway Northwest on the 10th.
