Soccer Recap: Dixie Comes Up Short

Dixie managed to keep up with Valley View until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Greyhounds lost 3-0 to the Spartans. Dixie just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Dixie's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-3. As for Valley View, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5-1 record this season.

Dixie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley View, they will face off against Brookville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
