Baseball Game Preview: Cudahy Packers vs. West Allis Hale Huskies

The Cudahy Packers will face off against the West Allis Hale Huskies at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

West Allis Central hit Cudahy with a four-run seventh inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Packers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 7-1.

Cudahy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Pettke, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Pettke is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Meanwhile, West Allis Hale came up short against Wauwatosa West on Thursday and fell 10-6. That's two games in a row now that the Huskies have lost by exactly four runs.

Evan Aigner made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Beckham Shoults, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

West Allis Hale's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Cudahy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.
