Baseball Recap: Carver Comes Up Short

Carver fell victim to Holy Innocents Episcopal and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Golden Bears, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Monday.

Carver dropped their record down to 2-13 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Carver wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-1 defeat against Hapeville Charter on the 15th. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-9 loss against Hillgrove on the 16th.
