Apalachee pushed their record up to 16-10 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs per game. As for Shiloh, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.
Apalachee took their win against Shiloh when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 16-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Apalachee since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
