There's no place like home for Foothill, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They breezed past the Lassen Grizzlies to the tune of 41-7 on Friday. The Cougars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Foothill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from John Puffer, who threw for 170 yards and three TDs while completing 90.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 37 yards. The dominant performance also gave Puffer a new career-high in passer rating (169.5). Carson Anderson did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 127 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Foothill was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 262 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Lassen still got an impressive performance from Dowan Stephens, who rushed for 113 yards and one score while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Stephens really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.

Foothill's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Lassen, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
