Recap: McNair Eagles vs. Tokay Tigers

The McNair Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Tokay 64-43. The victory was a breath of fresh air for McNair as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

It was another big night for Kalysa Phanhsavang, who scored 35 points along with nine assists and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Malia Do, who scored nine points along with 17 rebounds and six steals.

McNair's victory bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Tokay, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McNair will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Linden at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Linden is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Tokay will finish 2023 at home by hosting Ripon at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Ripon is ranked 782nd, while Tokay is ranked 800th).
