Soccer Recap: Rabun County Comes Up Short

If Rabun County was riding high fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Commerce last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the White County Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Rabun County couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Cristian Avila, who's now up to six this season.

Rabun County's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for White County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-7 record this season.

Rabun County has already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Oglethorpe County on the 28th. As for White County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Dawson County on the 28th.
