Dorman waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Eastside Eagles, posting a 49-12 victory. Given the Cavaliers' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Eagles are ranked 85th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dorman got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Meek Slydell out in front who threw for 205 yards and three TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Means, who rushed for 53 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries.

Dorman's record now sits at 8-2. As for Eastside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Dorman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eastside, they will face off against Gaffney at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 26.7 points per game this season.
