There's no place like home for Downtown Magnets, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Annenberg Panthers 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Suns: when they faced off against the Panthers two weeks ago, they had to take a 5-3 defeat.

Jacqueline Gallardo and Scarleth Orellana scored both of Downtown Magnets' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 31 goals.

Downtown Magnets now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Annenberg, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Downtown Magnets wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 7-2 win against Central City Value on the 13th. As for Annenberg, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Aspire Ollin on the 12th.
