Recap: Riverdale Cowboys vs. Tranquillity Tigers
The Riverdale Cowboys had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They blew past Tranquillity, posting a 46-8 victory at home. Considering Riverdale has won four matchups by more than 24 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Riverdale found their leader in underclassman Valeria Olguin, who scored 17 points. The matchup was Olguin's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Valdez, who scored eight points.
Riverdale has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Tranquillity, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-6-1.
