While Roswell put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Lanier. Roswell skirted past Lanier 2-0. This was payback for the Hornets, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Roswell has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Lanier dropped their record down to 5-15 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Roswell will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lanier: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
