Soccer Recap: Antelope Valley Has No Trouble Against Buckley

With a playoff win on the line, Antelope Valley rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Buckley Griffins. The score was close at the half, but the Antelopes pulled away in the second half with three goals.

They hit Buckley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Giselle Medrano (2), Kimberly Medrano, and Jessica Rendon.

The win made it two in a row for Antelope Valley and bumps their season record up to 9-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Buckley, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.

Coming up, Antelope Valley will take on Grace at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Grace will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Antelope Valley surely won't give up without a fight. Buckley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
