This is the second loss in a row for Salem Hills and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Springville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Salem Hills took their win against Springville in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Salem Hills since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
