Basketball Game Preview: Williamson Warriors vs. Northeast Bradford Panthers

Williamson hasn't had much luck against Northeast Bradford recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Williamson Warriors will take on the Northeast Bradford Panthers at 6:00 p.m.

Williamson is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Wednesday. They lost 52-28 to Canton. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Williamson has suffered against Canton since December 19, 2019.

Meanwhile, Northeast Bradford waltzed into their match last Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 61-27 win over the Warriors. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Warriors are ranked 369th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northeast Bradford's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.4 points per game. As for Williamson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Williamson was dealt a bruising 67-28 loss at the hands of Northeast Bradford when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Williamson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
