Softball Recap: Fort Calhoun Takes a Loss

Fort Calhoun fell victim to Elkhorn North and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 8-0. The Pioneers have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Fort Calhoun's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Elkhorn North, their win bumped their record up to an identical 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Calhoun will venture away from home to challenge Ashland-Greenwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elkhorn North, they will challenge Ralston at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Rams will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
