Baseball Game Preview: Dacula Falcons vs. Central Gwinnett Black Knights

For the second straight game, Dacula will face off against Central Gwinnett. The Falcons will challenge the Black Knights at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Dacula has five straight victories, Central Gwinnett has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Dacula's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Central Gwinnett with a sharp 15-0 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Samuel Jeffcoat looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mj Allen, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Asa Guzman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
