Basketball Recap: Rancho San Juan Takes a Loss

If Rancho San Juan was riding high fresh off their 58-15 takedown of Santa Catalina last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rancho San Juan Trailblazers took a 50-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marina Mariners. The Trailblazers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mariners apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Rancho San Juan's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Marina, their record is now an identical 4-2.

Rancho San Juan and Hollister will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Marina, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ceiba College Preparatory Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
