Basketball Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

If Milton was riding high fresh off their 76-48 takedown of Montoursville last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Milton Black Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 46-45 to the Shamokin Area Indians. The defeat continues a trend for the Black Panthers in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost six in a row.

Milton's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Shamokin Area, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milton has already played their next match (against Central Mountain), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Shamokin Area will square off against Juniata at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
