Silo dropped down to 34-7 on Thursday, ending the team's 13-game streak of wins. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kiefer Trojans. Considering the last time the Rebels couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.
As for Kiefer, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games.
For Kiefer's part, not much got past Sienna Renz, who gave up just two hits to keep Silo off the board. Renz has been consistent: she hasn't given up a single earned run in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Kiefer's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Triniti Roskydoll, who went 1-for-3 with one run.
Silo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kiefer, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Chandler on the 17th.
