The Mars Fightin' Planets lost against the North Hills Indians back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Mars lost to North Hills at home by a decisive 55-38 margin.
Mars lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alexis Cashdollar, who scored eight points along with three steals. Mya Moore was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds.
Mars' loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for North Hills, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.
Mars will head out on the road to face off against New Castle at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. New Castle is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for North Hills, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Hampton at 7:30 p.m. Hampton will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
