Klein Cain not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 26, 2024 (when they won 55-14). They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 56-22 victory over the Klein Forest Eagles. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Klein Cain's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eyan Johnson led the charge by rushing for 133 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Jah'Rin Louis, who rushed for 115 yards and two TDs on only 14 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Klein Cain was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 421 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Klein Forest only rushed for 188.

Klein Forest's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Robinson, who rushed for 104 yards on only 11 carries, and also threw for 135 yards and one touchdown. Dejaune Etheridge was another key player, rushing for 84 yards and a pair of scores.

Klein Cain's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Klein Forest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Klein Cain and Klein Forest will both be playing Klein Collins the next time they take the field. The Hurricanes will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st.
