Softball Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Comes Up Short

Southeast Whitfield County lost against Cedartown back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 7-6.

Allie Azurdia and Destiney Kenemore did some serious damage despite the final result: Azurdia went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run, while Kenemore went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. Azurdia has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Southeast Whitfield County has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Cedartown, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
