Volleyball Game Preview: Kennedy Cougars vs. San Pedro Pirates

The Kennedy Cougars will challenge the San Pedro Pirates at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kennedy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Triumph Charter. The game was the first time the Cougars have beaten the Jaguars on their court since September 14, 2019.

Meanwhile, San Pedro entered their tilt with Arleta on Monday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They blew past the Mustangs 3-0.

Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 29-9. As for San Pedro, their victory bumped their record up to 15-11.

Kennedy came out on top in a nail-biter against San Pedro when the teams last played back in September of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
