It was a good run, but Providence School unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Buchholz Bobcats, falling 11-1. The Stallions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Providence School saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landis Pickett, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Providence School's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Buchholz, they pushed their record up to 23-1 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Providence School will take on Bishop Snyder at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Buchholz, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gainesville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hurricanes have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.88 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
