Basketball Recap: Clairemont Takes a Loss

Clairemont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 56-13 loss at the hands of the Madison Warhawks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chieftains this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-11 back in January.

Clairemont's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Madison, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clairemont will face off against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Clairemont surely won't give up without a fight. As for Madison, they will head out on the road to face off against Crawford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Madison has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
