Soccer Recap: Liberty Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Liberty had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the San Luis Obispo Tigers a 1-0 shutout on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won four matches in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Emily Cove, who's now up to 14 this season.

Liberty's win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those 13 contests. As for San Luis Obispo, they moved to 19-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
