West Sioux will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Sergeant Bluff-Luton, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Falcons' defense stepped up to hand the Warriors a 3-0 shutout last Friday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering West Sioux's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Sergeant Bluff-Luton are ranked 90th).

Five must be Kuemper's lucky number: they beat Woodbine with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Knights blew past the Tigers 5-1. That's two games straight that Kuemper have won by exactly four goals.

West Sioux is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 56 goals over those 12 games. As for Kuemper, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7-3.
